Rob Ghio of Mo. had the most stunning work
I've ever seen, he uses carved Emu egg
inlaid into the gourds for beautiful results.
You can visit his website at:

This was a demonstration table set up at the
entrance where different artist would give
free demo's of some of their procedures
Helen Thomas of Indiana (Sandlady) was
one of the first friends I saw.
Fred Dunlap from TX, and Joy Jackson from
OH were always so busy at the main tables, she
worked very hard to help make it a success.
These two cuties had a great time with the
water there to cool them off.
Judi Fleming took time to play in the water.
I thought this piece to be so striking. A
technique I haven't yet learned.
This is the exchange table, I would love
to know  how many folks brought an
exchange, it was unbelievable!!!!
Another photo from the exchange table.
Exchange table again. Isn't it amazing??
This guy had some beautiful pieces and was
kind enough to play during the show. Wish I
had gotten his name I do know he was from
New Mexico
Sylvia Fink won Hellen Martin's beautiful
Santa necklace and was so thrilled. I can't
blame her there.
I believe this table was some of the
raffle prizes, donated gourds were
everywhere.
Rhoda Forbes from Canada and myself. We
didn't get to spend enough time getting to
know one another.
Rhoda teaching her pine needle coiling.
Sandy Toone of TX and myself. It was good to
see her again. A very sweet lady.
Marianne Barnes of SC, words can't describe
her talents with gourds and basket making. Look
at these beauties.
The mallard ducks seem to have a permanent
home on the river that was just outside our door
at the motel. It was so peaceful to watch them.
Helen Thomas and Renee Velska-two nuts at the
show!!!
