ABOUT ME
My family at my son's
        8th grade
graduation-ready for high
    school?
My names is Tammy Brown and I live on a 31 acre farm in a rural community of the foothills
of North Carolina. I've been married to my husband, Hassel for, 18 years and we have one
son, Trey.

For as long as I can remember,  I've had a love of working with my hands. Whether it be with
pen and markers as a child or building a fort in the woods as I got older. So when I found
gourds several years ago, it was love at first site.  I love the process of growing them all the
way to finished product which can take up to a year from seed planting to drying to crafting.

My first love is painting, but as you will see I always love trying new mediums.

I am a member of the American Gourd Society, the North Carolina Gourd Society, the
Indiana Gourd Society, and the Ohio Gourd Society, all of which I have traveled to and
visited their fine shows.
If you've never been to a gourd show, I must highly recommend it. It will truly be an
experience you won't soon forget. The talents of many artist are all together and truly
breathtaking and very humbling.

I hope that you will enjoy your visit to my website and come back often to see the new
updates.

Happy Gourding,
Tammy
