I've been busy getting things ready for an annual open house.
Here's a few pictures. (Click photos to enlarge).
I've made a new page for all coiling items, you can see it here.
FREE PATTERN
Can't you see this easy candy cane design on
many things? I think it would also look great on a
candy tin or even, reduce and put on an ornament, I
would love to see your photos if you do this
this project. (This piece is being donated to
a local church auction.

GOURDING TIPS
Are everyone's crops in now? I collected my big crop of
ornamentals and they are drying fast. Not too many bigger
gourds to talk about this year. Please remember those
ornamental gourd like found in your grocery stores that are
yellow or green with stripes, will also dry and be great for
your art work. Don't throw them out like some of my
co-workers and family have done.
PAINTING TIPS
Even with acrylic paints drying fast, you can get faster results
using a blow dryer to speed up the process. Lots of times we are in
a hurry to finish a project and it really comes in handy.
